Vermicelli Bowl

    VERMICELLI BOWL

    Ingredients

    Makes 2 Servings (or 2 Bowls)

    Nuoc Cham Sauce

    3 Tbl

    Vermicelli Style Rice Sticks

    1/4 lb

    Vietnamese Pork Chop, sliced

    1 Chop

    Lettuce

    1/2 Cup

    Shredded

    Vietnamese Carrot Slaw

    1/2 Cup

    Click Here For Recipe, (can substitute for raw julienned carrots and daikon)

    Cucumber

    1/2 Cucumber

    Seeded and sliced

    Avocado

    1

    Sliced

    Fresh Basil

    1/4 Cup

    Torn into pieces

    Fresh Cilantro

    1/4 Cup

    Chopped

    Preparation

    Step 1, Inital Prep:

    Make the nuoc cham sauce.  Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions.  Once fully cooked, run the noodles through cold water to cool them down and stop cooking.

    Step 2, Finish:

    Between the two serving bowls, add the lettuce, noodles, carrot slaw, cucumber, sliced pork chop, avocado, cilantro and basil. Split the sauce in half and serve on the side.
