Basic Cabbage Salad

This is another quick and easy dinner salad to put more vegetables on your plate. We take out the dressing before making dinner and by the time dinner has finished cooking, the dressing is at room temperature ready to be shaken and tossed into the salad. It is much easier to have a salad on the plate when the dressing was made on the weekend.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Cabbage - Shredded, Red and/or Green
  • 1 Carrot - Julienned
  • 2 Tbl Basic Vinaigrette

Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well mixed.  Serve.
