Roasting at a high temperature carmelizes the broccoli. After roasting, Toss with different sauces and vinegrettes to give the broccoli different flavors

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Broccoli - Cut into 1-1/2 inch to 2-inch long florets sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 3 Tbl Extra Virgin Olive Oil -
  • Black Pepper - To taste

Preparation

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 450F degrees. On a baking sheet, toss the broccoli with the olive oil and pepper. Arrange in a single layer, cut side down, and roast, without flipping, until browned and crisp-tender about 15 to 20 minutes.
