This sauce amps up the flavor of steak. Also use this versatile sauce on vegetables.
Simmer the vinegar in a small pot over medium heat until reduced by half, about 6 minutes. Add onions, garlic, red pepper flakes, thyme, capers, and olive oil. Return to a simmer until the onions are cooked, about 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and whisk in the parsley.
