Balsamic Green Salad

This is our basic balsamic vinaigrette salad that we make with many of our dinners. This salad is meant to be easy to assemble as long as you have lettuce and balsamic vinaigrette on hand. It's an easy way to fill up your plate with vegetables. We take the balsamic vinaigrette out of the refrigerator to allow it to come to room temperature and make a salad with whatever ingredients we have in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Head of Lettuce
  • 1/2 Cup Cherry Tomatoes - Halved
  • 1/2 Cup Cucumber - Chop into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1/2 Cup Red Onion - Diced
  • 1/2 Cup Croutons, Homemade
  • 2 Tbl Balsamic Vinaigrette
  • 1 Tbl Feta Cheese - Crumbled

Preparation

Step 1:

Place lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion and croutons in a salad bowl. Add the balsamic vinaigrette and toss. Sprinkle with feta cheese over the top.
