We had tried many times to roast brussel sprouts with little success. This vegetable always seemed undercooked or bitter. We always wondered how restaurants could make these little vegetables so tasty - until we tried this method. And voila! We found how to make Perfectly Roasted Brussel Sprouts!
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Bring a medium pot with water to a boil. Blanch the brussel sprouts for 3 minutes.
Oil an unlined baking sheet and spread the brussel sprouts face down. Bake for 25 minutes and serve.
Mix a creamy garlic yogurt sauce or drizzle hot honey over the top. Toss with a balsamic vinaigrette. Sprinkle pomegranate seeds or sliced almonds.
