We know that tapenade is not considered a low sodium item (it is definitely high in sodium), however, we love it so much that we couldn't live without it. We use this spread as a component to another recipe to amp up the salty flavor in a controlled manner or we eat this in moderation with saltless homemade artisan bread. You will be surprised how much 1/2 Tbl of tapenade spread on a slice of artisan bread will fill you up in the afternoon. We carefully watch our intake on this delicious spread.
Add all ingredients into a food processor and run until well-mixed. Store in the refrigerator.
Tapenade keeps in the refrigerator for an extremely long time and we also use it as an ingredient in dishes.
