Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2-1/2 Cups 1% Low Fat Milk
  • Black Pepper - To taste

Preparation

Step 1:

In a saucepan on medium-high heat, whisk together the olive oil and flour. Heat the milk in the microwave for 2-1/2 minutes. While whisking, slowly add the hot milk to the roux. Simmer the sauce while occasionally whisking until the sauce thickens to desired consistency, about 20 minutes. Season to taste.
