Air-Fryer Brussels Sprouts

This is a pretty foolproof way to make Brussels sprouts as tasty as you find served in restaurants.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels Sprouts - Trimmed and cut in halves
  • 3 Tbl Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Garlic Cloves - Thinly sliced
  • 1/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 Tsp Lime Juice
  • 1/2 Tsp Coconut Aminos, Less Sodium

Preparation

Step 1:

Preheat air fryer to 400F degrees. Make the balsamic sauce by bringing the balsamic vinegar to a boil in a small saucepan. Then simmer until thickened and syrupy. Remove from heat and whisk in 2 tablespoons of oil, lime juice and coconut aminos.

Step 2:

Place the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket. Spray well with olive oil. Fry for 10 minutes; shaking basket or turning sprouts halfway through.

Step 3:

Sprinkle sprouts with the garlic and continue cooking until garlic is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes longer.

Step 4:

Transfer the brussels sprouts to a serving platter and drizzle with balsamic sauce. Squeeze more lime juice on top to taste.
